Emotional intelligence and public speaking in Struga

On January 12th, we delivered two training sessions for the staff retreat of FRI, in Strugë. We delivered Emotional Intelligence and Public Speaking, as the two subjects that were most required by the trainees. We talked about the different concepts, the takes on emotional intelligence, public speaking with all it’s components and applied some games related to both of them too.

This training was facilitated by the vice president of FRI, Berat Limani, who extended an invitation to us, which we’re glad we accepted. The synergy and the interaction from this group was incomparable. We’d like to thank them all for their active participation.

During this training, discussion focused on emotional intelligence and public speaking seperately; we talked a little about the theories of Daniel Goleman on the types of intelligence and our approach to them, it’s application and more.  We also focused on the importance of public speaking and it’s very close relation to emotional intelligence in fact, speech techniques and more.

The training included a lot of games and excersises, which made it more and more interesting. When you deliver through a non-formal education training approach, it’s expected that the participants will definitely remember something, like the stories, the games or even the personality test that helps them better understand themselves. We loved the interactivity and positivity that we got back, and of course, would love to cooperate again. On these subjects, it’s usually an exchange of information situation, because they all wanted to share their own experiences and thoughts.

At the end of the training, everyone was given a certificate.
